Honoring Excellence: CCG's Woody Walker Recognized as UCF Honorable Knight

Feb 22, 2018

The University of Central Florida (UCF) honors Convergence Consulting Group’s (CCG) SVP of Alliances and Client Engagement, Woody Walker, with the College of Business Honorable Knight award. The nomination is a part of UCF’s College of Business Administration “Business Hall of Fame Inductee” awards which recognizes UCF business alumni who have displayed excellence in their careers for more than 10 years.

Woody earned her undergraduate BSBA in Management at the University of Central Florida and later earned her M.B.A through the UCF College of Business Administration. Woody has remained involved in the university as an alumna through her service as Director of the UCF Alumni Board and support of the Athena Next-Gen Organization. Woody’s commitment to ongoing education is rooted in her passion for inspiring the next generation of technologists to pursue opportunities in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Woody even created a scholarship to honor women in STEM which will support women of all ages in pursuing their higher education journey.

Woody was recognized at the 19th annual Business Hall of Fame gala put on by the UCF College of Business on February 20, 2018, at the Rosen Shingle Creek. More than 800 alumni, faculty, students, partners and friends of UCF joined in the event to honor distinguished alumni, including many CCGers. Jack Howard, CCG’s VP of Sales & Marketing and UCF Alumni in attendance at the Hall of Fame said of the nomination, “Woody's recognition as an Honorable Knight is a testament to her relentless efforts to help others succeed and prosper in their careers.”
